Macrame Flower Wall Hanging
Time: 3 hours
Location: Create and Sew Studio, Chorley town centre

Join us for an enjoyable evening at the studio with a relaxed Macramé class! In just 3 hours our fabulous tutor Julie will teach you some basic knots and you will make a lovely bold flower wall hanging for your home.
All materials are provided and we will have a choice of coloured macrame cord to choose from, just come along and why not bring a friend?
Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.
Macrame Plant Hanging

Arm Knitting Workshop - Chunky Blanket
Time: 2 hours
Location: Create and Sew Studio, Chorley town centre

Come and join us for one of our most satisfying classes - arm knitting and take home your own super chunky, snuggly blanket!
This class is suitable for total beginners – no knitting or crafting experience is required at all.
You’ll be taught how to use your arms as your knitting needles and you’ll create your whole blanket in our 2 hour class.Your finished blanket will measure approximately 150cm x 80cm. The exact size will vary depending on the sizes of your stitches and the tension of your yarn.
We will teach you how to cast on, knit the stitches and cast off.
You will be able to choose your own 2kg ball of vegan friendly “Mammoth” yarn from the masters Woolly Mahoosive.
We will be in touch to get your chosen yarn colour. There are over 17 colours to choose from, about a week before the class we will be in touch, if you book with less than a week to the class we will let you know what colours we have in stock.
Monthly Crochet Club
Time: 2 hours
Location: Create and Sew Studio, Chorley town centre

Come along to our monthly crochet club and get stuck into your project for a few hours. Some crafts can be lonely to do at home on your own.
Why not come and we will make you a brew and you can chat and maybe inspire others in the class. We will have our fabulous tutor Julie to hand to support, help and encourage you and help with any issues you may come up against.
This class is perfect for beginners and those experienced at crochet. We have plenty yarn and hooks to get your started. There is plenty of time and space to enjoy a dedicated few hours crochet time just for you. Why not give it a try just bring yourself and your own crochet project.

Dawn
Owner of Create and Sew Studio
Dawn Elliott, the founder of Create and Sew Studio, has always had a passion for creativity. Born in Fife, Scotland, Dawn moved to England with her family at the age of 15. After completing her studies in college and university, she settled in the North West of England with her husband and two children. Dawn's journey into sewing began with her mother and grandmother, who taught her to knit and inspired her love for handmade crafts.
Heather
Studio Assistant
Works part time whilst studying at uni. She helps with all sorts of tasks at the studio from
social media, planning and anything Dawn needs help with.
Ruth
Tutor
Our very talented quilter. Loves quilting and the more creative side of free-motion machine embroidery.
Previously a cake shop owner Ruth loves helping others and teaches quilting and a few other classes.
Hannah
Tutor
Our very talented dressmaking tutor. Day to day, she works at a studio making curtains and blinds, however she is an incredible seamstress too.
Julie
Tutor
Julie is our crochet and macramé tutor, they are her favourite craft, she loves creating and learning new projects and finds them both very relaxing. She crochets a lot in her spare time and you can often find her stalls at craft fairs!
